Origin

Janos Prohaska was an exceptional aviator who had fought against tyranny all his life. When his homeland of Poland was overwhelmed by the Nazis during World War II, he joined the Polish resistance, flying a jet-black plane used for night missions against the enemy.

After completing one night mission he was pursued to his family farm by Nazi Colonel Von Tepp, who bombed the farmhouse, killing Prohaska's brother and sister. Vowing revenge he waged a one-man war against the Nazis, creating the identity of Blackhawk.
