Normal Xudarian with Green Lantern Ring enhanced abilities granting the wielder the ability to create forms and devices of green energy from their imagination, transmute materials, phase through solid objects, invisibility, super-sonic flight, super-human strength, speed, stamina, durability and immunity to harsh environments.

Note: Xudarians naturally possess wings enabling them to fly within an atmosphere. The wings are unnoticeable because they are pressed flat against their backs.

Note: The imprisonment within the Main Power: of Parallax - a yellow being composed of pure fear - created an impurity making Green Lantern Rings incapable of manipulating objects colored yellow, and the champions of the Guardians of the Universe, the Green Lanterns, susceptible to the only thing that could break their will - fear.

With few exceptions the Power Ring is limited to a 24 hour charge and must be recharged in the Power Battery on a daily basis.

Green Lantern Central Power Battery: Repository of the mental energies of the Oan race.

Green Lantern Power Battery: Portable power batteries capable of drawing power from the Central Power Battery.

Green Lantern Ring: Device worn upon the finger to focus the energies of the Central Power Battery.

And I shall shed my light over dark evil,

Working as a scientist on his home world of Xudar, a planet in the third quadrant of the Xeno Galaxy, young Tomar-Re was approached by the Guardians of the Universe to become the Green Lantern of Sector 2813.

His first assignment was to delay the destruction of Krypton to allow the inhabitants to discover their impending doom and abandon the planet. His mission ultimately failed, but his method of extracting radiation from a planet would save others in the future.

Tomar-Re died after the battle against the Weaponers of Qward during the Crisis On Infinite Earths. In his dying with he passed his Power Ring onto Hal Jordan's (Green Lantern II) replacement John Stewart (Green Lantern III), returning his friend to his status as one of Earth's Green Lanterns.

Tomar-Re was put to rest in the Crypts of the Green Lantern Corps on Oa as one of it greatest members.
